This would have been funny even not in 3D GIF form, but the artist decided that it needed a bit of dimension to it.
I like this piece because it cleverly references both worlds, Bullet Bill and the looming moon from Majora’s Mask, while drawing on the classic imagery of 1902′s A Trip to the Moon, where this exact same scene was recreated. You might also recognize it if you saw Hugo last year.
I love it when a series of good references come together.
